Breaking News! Property Up-dates!
Nearly half of homeowners (41%) have a fixed-rate mortgage
that ends this year, according to a survey conducted by Equifax. 70% hope that they may secure a new deal, but they will be
dis-appointed. The online credit information provider warns that in the current economic climate, if the borrowers credit
rating isn't very good they may not secure a good rate, and as a result could face hefty increases.in repayments, states Neil
Munroe, Equifax external affairs director.
It is essential to get a copy of your credit ratings,
prior to searching for the best deal. if they leave it too late there's a danger that they, will revert to the lenders standard
rate, which could increase their re-payments.
